Introduction

Although Ikigai UK is not currently required to publish a Modern Slavery Statement under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we believe it is important to demonstrate our commitment to ethical business practices and responsible supplier relationships.

Our business

Ikigai UK provides consultancy, advisory, learning and development, sales enablement, operations, and business support services to startups, SMEs, and growing organisations.

Our commitment

We are committed to:

  • Acting with integrity in all business relationships.
  • Treating all individuals with dignity and respect.
  • Opposing all forms of modern slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking.
  • Promoting fair working practices and ethical business conduct.
  • Working with suppliers and partners who share our values and commitment to responsible business practices.

Supply chain

As a consultancy business, our supply chain is relatively limited and primarily consists of professional service providers, software vendors, contractors, and business partners. Where appropriate, we seek to work with reputable organisations that operate in accordance with applicable employment, labour, and human rights laws.

Policies and governance

Ikigai UK expects all employees, contractors, suppliers, and partners to uphold high standards of ethical conduct. Any concerns regarding unethical behaviour, exploitation, or modern slavery should be reported and will be investigated appropriately.

Continuous improvement

We will continue to review our business practices and supplier relationships to ensure they remain aligned with our commitment to ethical operations and responsible business conduct.

Fair global employment

Ikigai UK embraces remote and international working arrangements and is committed to ensuring that all individuals working with or on behalf of the business are treated fairly, respectfully, and ethically. We believe talent is not defined by geography and seek to build long-term relationships that provide meaningful opportunities, fair compensation, and professional development regardless of location.

Approval

This statement has been approved by the Directors of Ikigai UK and will be reviewed periodically to ensure it remains accurate and relevant.
